All owners of Acorn Hill lots are members of the Acorn Hill Homeowners Association, which was created by an easement to each property deed in the development as a requirement of Voorhees Township, New Jersey. The responsibility of maintaining the common areas is borne by the lot owners through the association.

The Architectural Committee is currently comprised of all elected Trustees.  Homeowners must request approval PRIOR to work being done to modify the exterior of each home, including any changes to siding, paint type/colors,  windows, roofing,  decks, pools, fences and additional structures.
All members have a right to the use and enjoyment of the common areas.  Swimming, boating and ice-skating are prohibited.  The Association has never excluded non-members from using the lake.

The Association is governed by a board of five trustees elected by the homeowners at the annual meeting. Trustees serve a three-year term, elect officers from their ranks, and meet periodically to conduct ongoing  AHHA business, including establishing a budget and ensuring assessments cover expenses.

On April 2, 2023, Scouts BSA Troop 67 and volunteers completed an Eagle project, installing compost soil and seeding for erosion control, sanding and painting wooden benches, with general clean-up of the park under direction of an Eagle Scout who lives here in Acorn Hill. Note that AHHA provided all materials, and there was some soil and wood chips left over for future use. In other recent news, ATA Landscape is now lawn maintenance contractor providing upkeep to AHHA property, including the area around signs. Feedback solicited.
